Hosting a London .NET Meetup
So your company’s interested in hosting a London .NET User Group meetup? Awesome. You’re in good company; here’s a few of the companies that have hosted us over the last few years:
Here’s what we’ll need from you
- A presentation space with seating for 50+ people
- Big screen or projector with HDMI
- our speakers usually present from their own laptops so wired HDMI is a must.
- Snacks & refreshments for attendees
- typically pizza/wraps/sandwiches, plus beer, wine and soft drinks.

Here’s what you get from us
- 50+ .NET engineers right there in your office
- 10 minutes to talk to our attendees about what you’re working on, recruitment, projects
- Plenty of time to chat to attendees before and after the meetup
- Your logo and branding on our social media and YouTube recordings
- The good will of the London .NET community
We can’t share attendees’ contact information (it’s against Meetup.com T&Cs) but you’re welcome to run a prize draw or something if you want to get folks’ email addresses.
How it works
- Get in touch with Dylan Beattie to say you’d like to host a meetup.
- Dylan will visit your office, meet the team, check out the space, highlight anything that we need to consider like accessibility or A/V setup.
- Ideally, we’ll confirm a date during that meeting. If not, we can follow up by email.
- We’ll arrange the speakers and promote the meetup via social media channels
- A week ahead of the meetup, we’ll confirm numbers for catering
- The day of the meetup, we’ll close RSVPs and provide a list of attendees if required by building security
